To help establish and improve the industry standards and professional development of the hospitality industry, the Catering Institute of Australia (WA) has developed and implemented award programs to reward excellence to high achievers.

Gold Plate Awards - Restaurants, cafes, hotels and wineries are all eligible to enter the most prestigious award program in WA to recognise the high standards of dining in service, cuisine and ambiance. A Gold Plate finalist will be judged several times by an independent, anonymous judge who travels the state to judge finalists in their category.

As a Business member you will receive a 12 months membership certificate, logo available to be used on stationary to show you are supporting the hospitality community, an opportunity to participate at events and promote your business, regular newsletters to keep you up to date on what's happening and 10% discount to all CIA events, 10% discount on CIA entry fees to competitions and discounts on other promotional industry events & activities.
