CONGRATULATIONS 2017 GOLD PLATE AWARD WINNERS!

On Monday 20th November 2017, Catering Institute of Australia (WA) President Craig Joel and the State Council proudly announced the winners of the 51st Kleenheat Gold Plate Awards. The annual event acknowledges the outstanding quality and service provided by restaurants in Western Australia. 600 VIP guests, sponsors and participants united at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre for an action packed evening, where they dined on fine food and celebrated with colleagues, friends and family.

The Premiers Award is awarded to Nic and Kolo at Applecross, for not only best meeting the judging criteria but also by having attained the highest percentage score overall.

Bill Thompson Award

Abbey Dunjey - White Salt

The Bill Thompson Award for excellence in service awarded to an individual during Gold Plate judging. Gold Plate Award judges are encouraged to nominate a waitperson who they believe display an exceptionally high level of standard of presentation, service and commitment to the hospitality industry.
